The painting "Birth of Self",  giving the name to this project, is telling the story of the birth of self, message which is then complimented by the one carried by the painting called "Dawn of Ego".

The Birth of Self is a birth like no other. It is the fundamental stepping stone in the "Evolution of Consciousness", which is the name of the next project.

The Self has always been there, buried under layers of protective and many times, unnecessarily overprotective, ego. The decision to remove, progressively or at once, these layers has an immediate impact on all that makes us alive. It changes our intentionality and agency and makes us, at first, have a glimpse, and then, see in the light ​dimensions of our being more and more unobstructed by the ego constraints. It gives us the possibility to develop a line of sight which is no longer capturing the domain of individual specialty, but which is oriented towards the realm of belonging to the oneness and wholeness we are genuinely meant to participate to.
